Based in North Sumatra, Indonesia, it carries out concrete actions on the ground to preserve this emblematic species and its natural habitat, particularly within the Peusangan ecosystem, where several dozen wild elephants still live. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Its teams work daily alongside local communities to limit conflicts between elephants and people, often caused by the destruction of forests and the expansion of human activities.
